Down-the-Stairs Icon

I saw this icon when I was at the hospital the other day. It was on some kind of vinyl material, covering a little nook in the hallway. Presumably, the emergency equipment was behind this curtain.

Emergency Down-the-Stairs Icon

This icon clearly summarizes the use of the going-down-the-stairs equipment. It’s quite good, in fact.  I hope that the instructions for putting the equipment together and installing the person in the chair, are equally as clear.

      • Well, there is that, of course! I wonder what it says about me that the first thing I thought of was the straight jacket. I never use the belt on my wheelchair, even though there are occasions when it would be advisable because I then feel imprisoned rather than safe. Hey ho.
