I began this experiment with the tiny flowers. I drew a nose to sniff them. Then I drew wings, a little arm and some flowing hindquarters.
I’m not sure why my imagination took a turn to the dark side (well, cartoonishly dark), but the tiny flowers became a lure on the tongue of a sniffbug eater.
I added a swarm of sniffbugs to entertain the thought that the sniff bug eater may be distracted at the last moment, allowing his prey to survive.
I am having a tremendous amount of fun with your imagination. Besides the nice pen work and beautiful watercolor treatment.
Thank you, Carol Ann! Kind of you to say. The imagination comes and goes. I’ve been on a roll lately. ;>)
You should illustrate a children’s book! 🙂
Thanks for that, Dr. V!
