Thanks to Kerfe of (methodtwomadness.wordpress.com), whose comment on Fiery Landscape inspired today’s watercolor experiment. I used the same method of dispersing color blooms that I used on Landscape, Fiery Landscape and Rocky Landscape: I pre-wet the paper and touched a pigment-laden brush to the wet paper. The resulting dispersion arrayed itself in forms of trees.
I painted the orb and wet a portion of the paper. I tilted it so the trees would grow radially outward. I repeated this around the circumference of the circle.
