I could not get the subject framed exactly how I wanted. Other than the composition, I really like the colors.

that’s really interesting, I love it. What kind of mythical animal are the angels walking? Rarely do you see angels with walking sticks because they can use their wings!
I think those are spears. It also looks like the animals are dragons. But I like your idea better!

I love the drawing, especially the tree. But, you know, for some reason I like the photo composition better – something about the different parts all huddled together appeals to me. Really nice work, both of them.
Thanks, Claudia. I’m glad you like the photo. The subject matter is crowded for sure. I always thought of it as incomplete, off balance. I just had to document the poster on the kiosk, no matter what.

I think in focusing on the poster, your eye saw the rest of it and set up the composition without your focusing on it, and to me, that is interesting, too, plus, as I said, there is something about the crowdedness that really appeals to me, just as it is.
