Camouflage

My intention today was to paint different blobs of color and then surround them with free-form lines. It didn’t work. Therefore I switched to placing my wandering lines on the page first.  I must have instinctively drawn a face-like profile, which I quickly covered up with other swirls of lines.  Then I began painting with a dark blue. I began with the form jutting out at the top and continued, in different shades of the same pigment with the forms connected at the vertex. Other pigments were chosen with different rules. I some areas I used complimentary colors; others received colors to allow the contours of the outline to show in maximum relief.

I saw a dragon emerge as I was painting. My wife saw a dog. Do you see anything recognizable?
